Trevi Fountain

Just a short stroll from Hadrianus Temple Suites—less than 10 minutes on foot—you’ll find one of Rome’s most iconic landmarks: the Trevi Fountain. This Baroque masterpiece is not only a feast for the eyes, but also one of the most famous fountains in the world.

Steeped in legend, the fountain is said to bring good fortune to those who toss in a coin: one coin ensures a return to Rome, two coins may lead to romance, and three could even bring about marriage.

But be careful—there’s a proper way to do it! Tradition holds that you must throw the coin over your left shoulder using your right hand, with your back to the fountain.

This charming ritual gained worldwide fame thanks to Federico Fellini’s classic film La Dolce Vita, in which Anita Ekberg famously wades into the fountain in an unforgettable scene.

Public transportation

  • From Termini StationTake Metro Line A (direction Battistini) and get off at either Barberini (2 stops) or Piazza di Spagna (3 stops). Both stations are a 5-minute walk from Hadrianus Temple Suites.
  • From Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport (32 km): Take the Leonardo Express train to Termini Station (runs every 30 minutes).
  • From Ciampino Airport (29 km): Take the Terravision bus to Termini Station.

Parking

Hadrianus Temple Suites is located in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). Paid parking is available nearby with ticketing systems; please check timings in advance.
